AMS, a longstanding Arizona Title I charter school network dedicated to educating and supporting underserved students, proudly announces that five AMS campuses have achieved coveted A ratings and five have secured B ratings. According to ADE, an A rating denotes excellence, and a B rating represents high performance. These exceptional results highlight the tremendous effort of AMS students, families, administrators, teachers, and staff who have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to quality education.

I hope you are ready for 2023 and all that it has in store for AMS Avondale! We ended 2022 on a high note and we are going to continue with the same momentum! We have so much planned for the second half of the school year and January will kick things off with events, activities, and re-enrollment opportunities!

We can't wait to see everyone this week as we welcome all of our families onto campus for Fall Parent-Teacher Conferences. All of our teachers should have already communicated and scheduled with you or provided you the open times available. We'll be releasing early this week at 1:15pm Tuesday through Friday. Please know it's our goal to participate in 100% voice-to-voice conferences. This means if you can't make it into the school; we still want to see you and speak with you about your child's progress. October may be a spooky month but these conferences aren't! We have our Interim Assessment data to share, DIBELS reading data, and of course our first quarter report cards. We can't wait to work directly with you to ensure all of our students are growing and meeting their learning targets.

Hello Nighthawk families! We are so excited to be back from our break and back into the swing of things. In reading and writing we are working on letter names, letter sounds, syllables, and parts of sentences. In math we are learning our numbers all the way to 100! The scholars are having so much fun learning to count so high. With the holiday season here we are having a blast adding fun winter crafts into our days as well. We can't wait to show you all of the fun we are having!
